Ok, So we're not gonna ACTUALLY show up at your house looking for that guest room that you promised us.....or marry you. Sorry! But we did the next best thing. . .We decided to put all this information together and bring it right to you!
I'm not gonna lie. We're real fascia nerds. We can't get enough of the stuff. And we knew we had a lot of information to share with you that there's just not enough time for in your session.
We also know how different Myofascial Release is from what you're used to and we wanted to be able to give you lots of videos to review at your own pace when you got home and forgot all our fancy fascia talk.

Before you can begin your Myofascial Self Care Journey, you have to learn about Fascia and how its connected to literally, everything. In this first module, we will start with the basics of fascia and Myofascial Release. We will also begin our quieting and looking within journey with a Grounding Meditation inspired by New England's beautiful trees and greenery.
In this Module, we really dive in deep to one of our favorite and most used Myofascial Tools, the MFR Ball. In this module, we will give you the principles of setting up and using your MFR ball with a vast array of videos to get your ball release creativity to flow! Continuing the inner work, we provide you with a relaxing tutorial on Belly Breathing, one of the best ways to learn to calm down and look within.
Now it's time to get serious. Seriously stretching, that is! In the third module, we teach you myofascial stretch techniques for the lower body, including hips, knees, feet, hamstrings, quads and your back.
We also start learning how to feel into our body and become more aware of holding and bracing patterns, giving ourselves permission to let go with the Body Awareness Meditation
Module 4 includes Upper Body stretch techniques for your chest, neck, upper back, shoulders, and torso.
We also start digging deeper into the connection between your physical pain and your stress and emotions through our Emotional Awareness Meditation created to tap into memories and emotions and release them from our fascia!
Gettin' Jiggy wit' it...Learn how Jiggling can be one of the most effective methods of feeling into where our fascial restrictions are and for releasing subconcious holding patterns. We also look at head and jaw techniques for TMJ, Headaches and Neck and Shoulder Pain and how pain in one area can be coming from an entirely different place!
Last but not least we teach you about your arms and legs, a fancy word called telescoping and how it enhances your myofascial stretching and how these are connected to everything else. Then we take you on your very own unwinding journey, the highly intuitive way your body moves and flows to help you stretch in exactly the way you need to, every time.

Hey! Nice to meet you. I started my Myofascial Release Journey in February of 2011. I had just quit my job as a Supply Chain Engineer for a large international corporation and had been dealing with debilitating low back pain for almost 3 years. Also a Massage Therapist building my own practice, I knew there had to be a gentler way to release this scary pain. That February, as I sat in John Barnes' Myofascial Release Seminars, I knew I had found the answer I was looking for. Now, almost 5 years later, I move about my life freely and without pain. I knew I wanted to help others not only by being a Myofascial Release Therapist but also by empowering them to learn how to help themselves. Katie and I want to be able to provide an online educational tool for our clients to be able to access anytime to help themselves to feel better immediately and not have to rely on us!

Hello friends! I’ve been an artist, always inspired by nature my entire life and graduated from Skidmore in 2008 with a Fine Arts major. After years working in the art industry something felt missing from my life. With a strong desire to make a difference and help other people I became a massage therapist. Shortly after beginning my massage career Nicole introduced me to Myofascial Release and I was hooked! I began my transition as a therapist to practicing MFR exclusively while taking all of John Barnes' available courses. Inspired by what I was seeing at seminars and in the treatment room, I decided to make a documentary about Myofascial Unwinding. While continuing my work with the documentary I filmed and co-directed with Nicole to make the Myofascial Self Care Course Online. I am excited to share my passion with you for both the beauty of nature and authentic, life changing healing and growth.
